If you don’t have a favorite blackened seasoning, make your own!
Give that a mix and season your fish. I purposely left out salt. Always a good idea to better control sodium intake.
Then toss some veg in a little EVOO and the same seasoning.
I like them well done but if you don’t, then do the brussels first for about 20 minutes then add the cabbage for another 10. Then the fish for another 15.
I put them all in together.
The Cobia is a white fish
Salmon is a hit as well.
Here I used:
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp thyme, brown sugar, cayenne pepper (optional for heat tolerance), and oregano
1 tsp onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper
Salt to taste
2 portions fish–here was Cobia and Salmon
2 cups brussel sprouts
1 cup chopped red cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
