Shortcut fruit cobbler!

I used two bags of frozen fruit 22oz plus some random berries in my fridge.
I added the zest from a whole orange plus the juice from half. Give it a mix.
Then I mixed half a cup of flour with a heaping tbsp of cornstarch, then tossed into the berries, coating them. Add 3/4 c sugar if you like it sweet.
Melt a stick of butter and mix into one box of cake mix.
Top and bake 350 until golden brown. 40-60 minutes.
Not quite authentic, but very tasty! I don’t miss the extra sugar.

You’ll need

  • Box of cake mix
  • Stick of butter, melted
  • around 2 pounds berries, do not thaw
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • Orange or lemon zest w juice
  • 3/4 c sugar (optional)
  • Oven at 350 40-60 min.
  • Enjoy!
